Here’s our recipe of a very chocolatey, moist Chocolate Mud Cake. Made with melted chocolate and our Egg Free Choco mix, topped with chocolate ganache, this one is sure to satisfy your chocolate cravings!

Pillsbury™ Egg-free Chocolate Mix | 500g |
Water | 225g |
Butter | 200g |
Melted Dark chocolate | 150g |
Chocolate Mud cake
Egg-free Chocolate Mud Cake sponge | 300g |
Chocolate ganache | 150g |
Chocolate sponge crumbs (For garnish) | 50g |
Preparation
Chocolate Mud Cake sponge
- Mix all the ingredients together for 1 minute in slow speed.
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing bowl and mix it again for 3minutes in medium speed.
- Pour the mix in the desired moulds and bake at 165°C - 170°C for 30-35 minutes.
Chocolate Mud cake
- Slice the sponge into 2 equal halves.
- Layer the sponge with chocolate ganache.
- Refrigerate the layered cake for 10-15 minutes.
- Finish the cake with melted chocolate ganache and garnish it with chocolate sponge crumbs.
